Sometimes it is necessary to change the port on which Apache runs.

Consider a very simple configuration of the Apache . When we have only one virtual host that is running on the HTTP .

To change the port that is running Apache need to correct the information in the file /etc/apache2/ports.conf

    For HTTP traffic lines:

    Listen 80
    NameVirtualHost *:80

And as in a file that describes the virtual host /etc/ apache2/sites-enabled/000-default

    <virtualhost *:80></virtualhost>

Change the 80 th port to the one that we like more.

    No system is truly secure!
